Corbin's United Effort is a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to the assistance of struggling low-income families in and around Corbin, Kentucky. We provide a number of services, including homelessness prevention, educational opportunities, and access to emergency food. We also provide coordination services to help civic groups, churches, and concerned groups of all sizes provide help to the needy in the most efficient ways possible.  We are supported entirely by the local community through fundraising, donations, and volunteer labor.

C.U.E. is a federally recognized 501(c)3 organization, so donations to the agency are tax deductible. In addition, because all our administrative costs are covered by fundraising activities, C.U.E. can use 100% of your donation in exactly the way you specify. Donations to the agency can be earmarked for a specific program or, more generally, for "client assistance," and you can rest assured your donation will go directly into client programs, not administrative costs.

In 2007, the Ossoli Club of Corbin was honored by the Kentucky Federation of Women's Club (KFWC) for their involvement in the HomeSkills Learning Project in conjunction with Corbin's United Effort. The project won first place in the KFWC Community Improvement Contest.

C.U.E. is please to welcome our newest employee, John Taylor.  John is a newlywed who has been volunteering here at C.U.E. through the Experience Works program for the last six months or so.  We are very happy to welcome him as our new Tri-CAN Manager!
